Membership: All those of you who have not yet paid this year’s membership, please forward to Jenny ASAP. Those of you playing in the Winter Tournament may be excluded from the later stages if your membership is still outstanding.

Floodlights: The floodlights are officially up and running. The tokens are priced at £5 per court per hour for members (£6 for non-members) and are available to buy from any committee member. To use them you must book the court with Sam Shrager in the usual way. There are two meters, one for each court. Simply insert the token in the appropriate meter and the lights will come on. A timer counts down your remaining time. But please note the following:-

             The lights will automatically switch off at 10pm, regardless of any credit              remaining on the meter.

             If you let the credit run out and the lights switch off, they will not come straight              back on even if you insert more tokens straight away. There will be a delay of              approx 10-12 mins.

             TAKE A TORCH! The committee are working on some form of lighting along the              path to the courts but be warned. You will need a torch to operate the meter, and              once the lights go out it is pitch black at the moment.

Club nights: These are taking place every Tuesday as from NOW, starting at 6.30pm. Everyone who plays will be asked for £2 to cover the cost of the lights.

Court Keys: It has been decided that access to the courts needs to be made easier. The club are making court keys available to members who wish to have one. There  will be a charge of £10 for the key, and it is proposed that members who return their keys will receive £8 back. Courts will still need to be booked with Sam Shrager in the usual way.
